Lake Sagami Fishing Experience
Enjoy fishing at for white crucian carp, Japanese smelt and black bass at the Lake Sagami Fishing Experience. Those not interested in fishing can enjoy touring the lake on a sightseeing boat.
Fujino Satoyama Experience
The Fujino Satoyama Experience allows visitors to experience a woodland community lifestyle while interacting with local people in a place surrounded by lush nature.
Fujino Engei Land
Fujino Engei (Gardening) Land is a farm jointly operated by farmers as a tourist attraction in the Nagura area of Midori-ku, Sagamihara City.
Fujino Workshop for Art
Visitors can enjoy crafting experiences here such as pottery, woodworking and glass art in a nature-rich environment. The facility includes halls and studios, and offers lodging as well.
Wada-no-Sato Experience Center "Village House"
Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of hands-on events such as bamboo crafting and making konjac in a nostalgic landscape selected as one of the "Top 100 Villages of Japan." The facility is very popular among children.
Shinobara-no-Sato Center
Shinobara-no-Sato Center is a former elementary school building transformed into a lodging facility that offers a variety of hands-on programs, including stone oven pizza baking, blueberry harvesting, and bamboo flute making.
Forest Therapy Experience
Forest Therapy is a form of "forest bathing" that reinvigorates the mind and body, leading to better health.
Kanagawa Prefectural Nanasawa Forest Park Atelier office
Kanagawa Prefectural Nanasawa Forest Park's Atelier office is a workshop in the forest where you can try your hand at pottery making (pottery wheel and Raku ware), woodworking and "tree branch" crafts. Children love the various hands-on experiences while surrounded by nature.
Iiyama Trail Running Course
Set around the nature-rich Higashi-Tanzawa Mountains and Iiyamahakusan Forest Park, these trail run courses are especially spectacular from late November to early December during the fall foliage season.
Strawberry Picking (Atsugi City)
Strawberry picking is available from around January to May. Strawberries of various kinds are offered on an all-you-can-eat basis for half an hour. Since it can get very crowded on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays, we recommend making reservations early. The new Kanakomachi variety may be on hand.
Nature Experience
Yamato City Nature Observation Center "Shirakashi no Ie" conducts activities that protect and nurture nature. It is very popular with children, especially during the summer vacation season.
Strawberry Picking (Ebina City)
Ebina City is known for its strawberries, and boasts the highest cooperative sales shipment volume in the prefecture. The strawberries are known for their mellow aroma and sweetness. Strawberry picking is very popular with children and is perfect for a one-day road trip.
Nordic Walking
At Zama Yatoyama Park, a mountainous park rich in nature, you can try Nordic walking, a type of exercise that began in Finland.
Vegetable Harvest Experience
Come harvest more than sixty varieties of seasonal vegetables and fruits at Minori Farm, including corn and tomatoes. This is a fun hands-on attraction in Ayase City that is very popular with children.
Farm Experience
Hattori Dairy Farm, located near Lake Miyagase, is home to nearly fifty cows, sheep, horses and other animals. The farm offers various experiences such as horseback riding, milking and butter making. Admission is free.
Craft Workshop Village
Craft Workshop Village is situated inside Prefectural Aikawa Park. Visitors can try their hands at traditional crafts such as indigo dyeing, weaving and papermaking.
Rainbow Plaza (Aikawa Textile House)
Located in Hanbara, known as "the village of thread," Rainbow Plaza (Aikawa Textile House) offers various hands-on experiences related to thread, such as weaving, indigo dyeing, papermaking and braiding.
Hattori Dairy Farm
At Hattori Dairy Farm, you can see dairy cows raised in a healthy environment with wonderful scenery and fresh air, and interact with many animals such as sheep, horses and rabbits. The gelato made from fresh milk is really a treat.
Segway and E-Boat Experience
At Miyagase Lakeside Park, get into outdoor activities such as riding a Segway or ten-person E-boat or hitting the green slopes on a grass slider.
