Accessibility
In addition to its extensive transportation infrastructure, including bullet trains and expressways, Kanagawa has excellent access to Haneda Airport and several international trading ports, making it a hub for international exchange.

Railroads and highways

Kanagawa has developed a wide range of infrastructure that facilitates inter-city cooperation, including extensive road and rail networks in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, providing easy access to major cities in Japan.
Adjacent to the capital city of Tokyo, it also offers excellent access to the Chubu and Kansai regions.
- The new Linear Chuo Shinkansen
- On the full opening of the Linear Chuo Shinkansen bullet train line, which will connect the Tokyo Metropolitan Area with the Chubu and Kansai regions, a new station will be built in Kanagawa, and travel time to Osaka is expected to drop to only one hour.
Haneda Airport

Haneda Airport, one of Japan's leading airports, is only about 30 minutes from Yokohama by car or train.
International trading ports

Kanagawa features three key ports for trade in Japan, including Yokosuka, Yokohama, and Kawasaki, the latter two being strategic international ports as designated by the Japanese government. These all play important roles in the industry and economy of the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
In particular, the Port of Yokohama is an international trading port with more than 90 international container liner routes, connecting it to many ports around the world.
