KanaSanpo（KANAGAWA Expedition）

We organize "KANASANPO", which gives you opportunities for international exchange and discovering Kanagawa's attractiveness. We welcome all members of KANAFAN (members and supporting members). It is a great chance to meet with people from various countries, talk and become friends with them and go sightseeing!

Join KanaSanpo “Miyagase bus tour” (Mar. 13, 2024) !

KANAFAN organizes tours to various spots in Kanagawa for the members to know more about the prefecture.

The second “KanaSanpo” of this fiscal year is a one-day bus tour through the Miyagase area, visiting Oginopan factory, Miyagase Dam and Japanese traditional crafts workshop. Enjoy scenery of a Japanese dam and its vicinity, traditional “aizome (indigo dyeing)”, and crafts (and eating, of course!). International students living or studying in Kanagawa Prefecture can join.

Time & date: 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, Wed., Mar. 13, 2024　 Gathering and finishing at KANAFAN STATION
Fees: Lunch fee and \150 for Oginopan’s “agepan (fried dough)”
No. of participants: First 39 applicants (24 foreign nationals living/studying in Kanagawa and 10 Japanese) *Please become a KANAFAN member to apply.
Activities: See how to make breads at Oginopan factory, take a walk on Miyagase Dam, experience Japanese traditional crafts of indigo dyeing and bamboo toy making and have lunch at a cafeteria at the dam.
