神奈川県立外語短期大学 【Kanagawa Prefectural College of Foreign Studies】

概要

神奈川県立外語短期大学は、国際貿易の拠点としての性格を持つ本県の特性から、国際経済社会の舞台で活躍できる人材を育成するため、外国語教育を主とした「英語科」のみの特色ある短期大学として昭和43（1968）年に設立されました。
43年間で約3,700名の卒業生を送り出し、その役目を終え、平成23（2011）年6月に閉学しました。

Kanagawa Prefectural College of Foreign Studies

In 1968 Kanagawa Prefectural College of Foreign Studies was established as a specialized junior college to provide specific instruction in foreign language education and a basis in international business. For 43 years, it provided a unique educational environment in its only one department, an English department, to raise citizens who will play active parts in the global world. After graduating about 3,700 students, it was closed in June, 2011.
International Affairs Division, International Affairs, Culture and Tourism Bureau, Kanagawa Prefectural Government is now responsible for issuing the graduates' official certificates and for handling all enquires.
