Local Fish Food Shirasuya

At this whitebait specialty restaurant directly operated by fishermen’s union “Kanhama Fishery” located in front of the Koshigoe fishing port in Kamakura, you can have fresh local fishes in addition to the freshly caught whitebait. During the closed season for whitebait fishing, you can enjoy dishes using seasonal fishes and shellfishes such as Japanese flatfish, false kelpfish etc. With modern cafe-style restaurant, there is a big fish-tank inside where you can see the fish that just caught swimming inside it.
