Koajiro no Mori (Koajiro Forest )
Located on the southern most tip of the Miura Peninsula, is the “Small Retail Forest” that stands out as a natural forest preserving stunning landscapes and biodiversity, as well as eco-tourism sightseeing spots. It is a treasure trove of nature where more than 2000 types of living things in the forest, tide and the sea together. The area of the green area is about 70 acres, and the forest has a river flowing to the sea while forming mounds in the mountainous wetlands and estuaries, and more. In the watershed, diverse animals and plants, including rare species, are found inhabiting the basin.

- Get off at Keihin Kyuko Line「Miuraguchi」station, take a bus bound for「aburatsubo」at platform no.1 or a bus bound for「Misakihigashioka」、「Misakitou」and get off at 「Hikibashi」 Bus Stop then walk about 5 minutes. By car: about 15 minutes from 「Sahara IC」exit on Yokohama-Yokosuka Road.
