Southern Beach Chigasaki
A historical sea-bathing place’s name was changed from Chigasaki Kaisui Yokujou to Southern Beach Chigasaki in 1999 because of a want to become popular like the music group “Southern All Stars” whose hometown is Chigasaki. This place is located in an outstanding location that you can see Enoshima in the east, Mount. Fuji in the west and Eboshi Iwa(A Large Hat-Shaped Rock), a symbol of Chigasaki, in the front. After opening up the seain July, events have been held every weekend and beach huts close at the end of August. the beach’s symbolic monument is the “Southern C” monument. It is well-known as a marriage and photo spot.
