Miura
Tsurugisaki Lighthouse
Tsurugizaki, located at the southern tip of the Miura Peninsula and jutting out into Sagami Bay, is designated one of Kanagawa's 50 most scenic spots. Tsurugizaki Lighthouse sits atop a cape surrounded by a series of reefs. While the interior is not open to the public, the approximately 29-meter-high hill offers views of the Boso Peninsula.
You can also walk down the footpath next to the lighthouse to a beautiful reef area, where you can observe marine life in the surrounding rock pools.
*Please note that buses to Tsurugizaki run infrequently, so we recommend checking bus schedules in advance.
