The elegant dance "Chakkirako," a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, will be performed.
Chakkirako, a prayer for good catches, good harvests, and prosperous business, will be performed again this year at Kainan Shrine.
It is a folk performing art traditionally performed exclusively by women, and its origins are said to date back to the Edo period.
There are two ancient legends surrounding this dance.
