The 73rd Uraga Port Festival

Uraga is always mentioned in Japanese history textbooks as a port town that opened up to the world after the arrival of Commodore Perry. The Uraga Port Festival is a traditional festival.
Various events are held around Uraga Port, and it is always crowded with many people every year. At the end of the festival, fireworks are set off into the night sky of Uraga.
