The 73rd Uraga Port Festival

Uraga is always mentioned in Japanese history textbooks as a port town that opened up to the world after the arrival of Commodore Perry. The Uraga Port Festival is a traditional festival.
Various events are held around Uraga Port, and it is always crowded with many people every year. At the end of the festival, fireworks are set off into the night sky of Uraga.
Why not enjoy the view of fireworks that are launched from the coast of Uraga, where the black ships once anchored?

Date and time: August 23 (Saturday), 2025, 15:00-20:00
*Fireworks display: from 19:30 (about 30 minutes) about 500 fireworks *Cancelled in case of bad weather
Venue: Nishi-Uraga Port Green Space and the area around Uraga Port
*There is no parking at the venue. Please come by public transportation.
