The 47th Dosun Festival - Kasagake will be held.

The Dosun Festival is held as a requiem for the Miura clan, which flourished on the Miura Peninsula from the Kamakura period to the Muromachi period. The “Kasagake”, which has long been passed down as a specialty of the Miura clan, will be performed as archers and horses gallop along the Araihama coast. It will be a valuable opportunity to pray for the peaceful rest of the ancestors’ spirits and learn about the culture and heritage left behind in Miura.
