Join Kanagawa Space Summit!

logo    Kanagawa Prefectural Government is promoting the space related industry, a growth sector.  In connection with this policy, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, “Kanagawa Space Summit” will take place to create networking and business opportunities, and facilitate entry into the industry.  The summit also aims to disseminate information and boost the space  industry.  This is the first large-scale space business conference to be held by a local government in the metropolitan area.

The theme of the summit is “Gather in Space Prefecture Kanagawa. Let’s Create the Future of the Space together.”  Through the summit, we will bring Japan's expertise and resources together, aiming to create the future of the space industry first in Kanagawa, and then across Japan. 

 

Space industries have potentials of developing into a wide range of businesses including medicine, AI, materials, manufacturing, and more.  The summit will highlight the advantages that only Kanagawa can offer, presenting the possibility of entering into the space-related business and developing/securing of human resources.   

 

The summit features a special speech by astronaut NOGUCHI Soichi, followed by presentations by speakers from various fields such as industry, academia, government and finance.  The speakers will share the insights on space business potentials.
