To Prevent Further Spread of COVID-19 Infections

What you can do to avoid infection---Which is more important, the outing or life?

Please refrain from going out unless it is essential for living.  If you need to, at least avoid 3Cs (“closed spaces”, “crowded spaces” and “close-contact settings”).  Implement teleworking and staggering work schedules to lower the risk of transmission of the virus.

In daily life, hand washing is very important.  Wash your hands with soap or alcohol-based disinfectant frequently after coming back home, before and after cooking and before eating.

Practice cough etiquette.  If you cover your mouth with your hands when you cough and then touch something like a doorknob with the possibly contaminated hands, you may transmit the virus to others through what you touched.

Those who have underlying diseases or elderly persons are strongly advised to avoid crowded places as much as possible.

*If you have cold-like symptoms like a fever, stay away from school or work.
*In that case, record your temperature every day.

For counseling on the novel coronavirus infection, please make a call to Kanagawa Prefectural Government COVID-19 Infection Counseling Dial.
