Comfortable Living Environment
Kanagawa was the first place in Japan to open its doors to foreign visitors after Japan’s isolation ended a century and a half ago. The progressive and harmonious attitudes here make Kanagawa a place where people from abroad find it easy to work and enjoy a comfortable life. The prefecture also has 13 international schools and 42 medical facilities that offer care in foreign languages. Representatives from overseas who come to work in Japan and bring their families along will feel at ease living in Kanagawa.
