Toshio Suzuki and Studio Ghibli Exhibition in Kanagawa Now Open at Yokosuka Museum of Art

“Toshio Suzuki and Studio Ghibli Exhibition” is being held in Kanagawa for the first time.  The venue is Yokosuka Museum of Art, which has been selected as one of the ten best view museums of the world.  The exhibition shows how Toshio Suzuki, the movie producer, ran through his career, using various materials.   Detailed stories behind the birth of Studio Ghibli and back side of planning and promotion of movies are also displayed.  Good photo spots are prepared for visitors, such as statues of Yubaba from Spirited Away and Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro.  You will have a fun time even if you are not a big fan of Ghibli.  Please make a reservation for a visit.

横須賀美術館で「鈴木敏夫とジブリ展」神奈川展を開催します

「鈴木敏夫とジブリ展」が神奈川県で初開催されています。会場は「世界の絶景美術館10」に選ばれた横須賀美術館。スタジオジブリ・プロデューサー、鈴木敏夫はどのように時代を駆け抜けてきたのか。スタジオジブリの誕生秘話や映画の企画・宣伝の裏側を豊富な資料で紹介しています。トトロや湯婆婆のオブジェなどフォトスポットも充実。ジブリ作品ファンのみならず楽しめます。観覧には事前予約が必要です。
