Vietnam Festa in Kanagawa 2026 Coming Soon

poster    Vietnam Festa in Kanagawa was first held in 2015 to promote exchanges and mutual understanding between Vietnam and Kanagawa.  This year's Festa, marking its 10th anniversary, takes place on Sat., September 12 and Sun., September 13 in the area of Nihon-odori Ave., Kanagawa Prefectural Government Main Building and Zou-no-hana Park.  Various programs are available this year, too, to let you fully feel the culture and charms of Vietnam. 

    At the Zou-no-hana Park area, you can enjoy the water puppet show, one of Vietnam’s traditional performing arts, as well as performances by popular Vietnamese artists and so on.  Also, don’t forget to try the wide variety of local food available in the park. 

 

waterpuppet    To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the festa, we are inviting a performance group of Nha Nhac, or Vietnamese court music.  One of the other highlights is the colorful lantern decoration, created to convey the authentic atmosphere of Vietnam.

    At the Large Conference Hall in the Kanagawa Prefectural Government Main Building, the annual speech contest, very popular every year, is held this year, too.
