The coastal area along Sagami Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture is called “Shonan.” Wishing
to promote the attractive features of Kanagawa’s beaches to many people, Kanagawa Prefectural Government (K.P.G.) launched “Kanagawa Sea Project” as a measure to spread the appeal of the SHONAN area both home and abroad. “Feel SHONAN” is the catch phrase of the project.
K.P.G. has been operating the Feel SHONAN website since 2014, offering information on tourist spots, gourmet, events, etc. of the SHONAN Area. This website has recently undergone a major revision, and became available in English, Chinese (traditional and simplified) and Korean. K.P.G. will keep promoting the features of this area in a way that is easy to see and understand.
