Farm Experience
Hattori Dairy Farm, located near Lake Miyagase, is home to nearly fifty cows, sheep, horses and other animals. The farm offers various experiences such as horseback riding, milking and butter making. Admission is free.

Craft Workshop Village is situated inside Prefectural Aikawa Park. Visitors can try their hands at traditional crafts such as indigo dyeing, weaving and papermaking.

Located in Hanbara, known as "the village of thread," Rainbow Plaza (Aikawa Textile House) offers various hands-on experiences related to thread, such as weaving, indigo dyeing, papermaking and braiding.

Mt. Hasuge Ikoi-no-Mori

Mt. Hasuge Ikoi-no-Mori
Mt. Hasuge Ikoi-no-Mori is a forest park where visitors can learn about the history of the region, view historical sites and artifacts of Hasuge Jinja Shrine, and old cedar trees that approach three hundred years old and other greenery. The wildlife, depending on the seasons, is also a sight to enjoy.

Prefectural Aikawa Park, located next to Miyagase Dam, has areas such as the "Flower Hill," blanketed with about 40 species of Rhododendron flowers and over 44,000 flowers, and its Children's Plaza. The whole family can enjoy this park.

Miyagase Dam
A concrete gravity dam completed in 2000, Miyagase Dam is unusual because it has two power plants-the main Miyagase Dam and a smaller sub-dam-and is also the largest dam in the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Lake Miyagase has been selected as one of the Top 100 Reservoirs.

Kuretama are eggs from hens raised on feed containing sesame seeds, yeast and the like. The eggs are rich in vitamin E and astaxanthin, and known for their rich flavor.

Rankaya is a fresh egg shop operated by the Kanagawa Central Chicken Farmers Cooperative Association . The sweets sold here, such as roll cakes and puddings, are very popular.

The Miyagase water&energy Museum is a hands-on amusement facility. There are many unusual exhibits, such as the water intake gate operation experience, where visitors can learn how the water intake works by controlling a model of the Sagami Ozeki Weir.

Built in 1883 , Yamaju House and its garden have been restored and preserved to teach future generations about the residences of wealthy farmers in the region during the early Meiji Era.

Site of Mimase Battle Field

Site of Mimase Battle Field
This site is famous as the battlefield of the Battle of Mimase Pass, where the armies of the Takeda and Hojo clans fought a fierce battle. The monument was erected four centuries later in 1969.

Aikawa Town Folk Museum

Aikawa Town Folk Museum
Located within Prefectural Aikawa Park is the Aikawa Town Folk Museum, where visitors can learn about the history and culture of Aikawa. The facility was built to preserve local materials and pass them on to future generations, as well as to serve as a base for disseminating information about Aikawa.
